Computer History - The Computer Museum History Center is the world's authority on the history of computing technology."(CMH) Their collection spans hardware, software, audio clips, films, and documentation. Visitors may view a timeline history of computing from 1945 to 1990. The site discusses the development of such things as computer networks, computer languages, data storage, the microprocessor, and the Internet, as well as the role of such companies as IBM, Cray, Digital, Texas Instruments, Apple, Xerox Hewlett-Packard, and Intel.
Computer Museum of America - The history of technology will be the subject of much debate in the years to come. As our culture embraces the computer so ubiquitously, questions as to how it all began and why it came to be will need to be answered. The Computer Musuem of America stands ready with its collections, exhibits, programs and web sites to provide much of that information, now and for generations to come."
